Verizon Launches GameTanium Subscription Gaming Service

Good news for all you Android users that just can't make up your minds about what games to download: Verizon Wireless has announced its new GameTanium game subscription app for Android devices, giving you unlimited access to a large library of games for one monthly fee.

Available exclusively to Verizon Wireless customers, GameTanium is a subscription service that gives users unlimited access to over 100 Android smartphone games and more than 50 tablet games (Verizon did not offer exact numbers in its press release) for $5.99 a month. New users can enjoy a free, unlimited three-day trial before fees kick in.

GameTanium, which is available now, will also be ad-free, giving users uninterrupted gameplay. Other features of the service include editorial picks reviews, and even parental ratings.

The service is currently only available on certain Android devices, though Verizon did not offer many details about which models are compatible. The press release stated that GameTanium can be downloaded on more than 30 Android smartphones and two tablets, and the only specific models that were provided were the Motorola Droid RAZR, the HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE, and the Motorola Droid Xyboard 8.2.
