Current product roll out into the market is the ?Smart Rider System? with applications consisting of navigation, radio, TV, CD/VCD/DVD, MP3/MP4, game, internet access, email access, SMS access, hands-free mobile phone system, reverse radar system, and reverse visual system in one single solution. If the user requires, it is possible to install Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, or Power Point into the System for in-car office work. In the past world of automobiles, the driver is cut off from the outside world once he steps into the car. With Power Digital Communications? ?Smart Rider System,? the driver can easily remain connected with the outside world and at the same time enjoy full multimedia applications. ?The Smart Rider System? is equipped with a GPS module and internal digital mapping software, allowing for free always on usage. The digital maps can be updated during routine automobile maintenance, creating a cost efficient and easy way for drivers to become digitally connected.
In consideration that the driver may add software into the System, or download data to be taken from the System, the ?Smart Rider System? is designed with USB and MultiMediaCard/Secure Digital Card slots. The first roll out of the System will be bundled with Power Digital Card?s memory cards. Quality of Power Digital Card?s memory cards exceeds industrial grade standard and fully meet the in-car-usage environment. The cards are tested to withstand temperatures of ? 60C ~ + 95C, and can withstand shock from a 30 meter drop.
With the additional memory card slot, drivers can bring their favorite digital music or movies into the car, and can update their in-car phonebook from their PDA. Drivers can also either reply mail from the car, or can download email to be read at the office. Initial target market of the System will be in China, and later on rolled out to US and European markets.
